SPOKESPEOPLE is a short documentary about Los Angeles' bicycling communities. The film has screened at over 30 film festivals, including the Oscar-qualifying Edmonton International Film Festival, the Planet in Focus International Environmental Film Festival, and the American Pavilion’s Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the Cannes Film Festival. Ryan Henry Mekenian recently completed his Master's in Film & Television Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. In 2022, his screenplay, THE MAN IN THE FLYING LAWN CHAIR, was a quarterfinalist for the Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting.
