Ara Keshishian has set his first slate of projects with his production company ZQ Entertainment with names that include George Clooney, Anthony Hopkins, Sam Raimi, and Matt Reeves.
LOCKED, a remake of an Argentinian action thriller, will star two-time Academy Award-winner Anthony Hopkins alongside Glen Powell of TOP GUN: MAVERICK fame. David Yarovesky is set to direct. Ara Keshishian and Petr Jákl will produce for ZQ Entertainment with Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi producing for Raimi Productions.
GOD'S COUNTRY, a new genre film, will star Melissa Barrea, and will be produced with Matt Reeves’ 6th & Idaho. John Grisham's book, CALICO JOE, is being adapted with George Clooney and Grant Heslov’s Smokehouse Pictures, which will have George Clooney directing.
ZQ Entertainment is also in partnership with Anonymous Content on the upcoming book, THE DEVIL'S PLAYBOOK, currently being written by former Bloomberg reporter Lauren Etter, about the rise and fall of the Juul vaping company. The company is also in development on a series with Simon Kinberg and Stephen King, based on the author's short story, OBITS.
ZQ Entertainment is a development and production company founded by Ara Keshishian, who began his entertainment career at CAA in 2000 and represented clients that included Natalie Portman, Antonio Banderas, Kate Hudson, Jeffrey Wright, Kerry Washington, and Liev Schreiber.
