Smyrna, a Greek film about the 1922 burning of Smyrna, Greece, which resulted in the massacre of its Greek and Armenian communities, will be released in 700 theaters for a one night only event on Thursday, December 8.
In advance of its limited release, a special screening of the film will be held on November 29 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The film will also be screened at the European Parliament in Brussels on January 11, 2023.
